Hi! Thanks for stopping by Cox & the Hen Custom Creations. Today I’m going to start off with a short introduction about myself. My name is Adrienne and I’m the face behind and Cox & the Hen. I am a stay at home mom of three daughters. We moved to Brooks, Alberta in the summer of 2017.
I’m a very creative person who loves to make all the things! I like to do crafts of all kinds but one of my current favorites is to paint wood signs. Which works out well since my boyfriend is a carpenter and does all the woodworking for our business! I love how no two signs are ever the same. I also love making basically anything that I can with my Cricut, as well as reading, cooking, and gardening.
I used to work for a company that made customized apparel and promotional items for companies and events. While I enjoyed it, I really wanted to make all the cute, unique, funny onesies that I saw all over Pinterest. Not the big orders of the exact same t-shirt hundreds of times over. So when I finished my maternity leave with my third daughter I decided to take some of the skills I had learned at my previous job and start a business making custom, personalized items and gifts.
In my Etsy shop, CoxandtheHenCustom I sell custom, personalized items and gifts such as onesies, coffee mugs, and home/seasonal decor. If you’re looking for the perfect gift make sure you check out my shop as I’m always adding new items!
In this blog I intend on writing about many different topics that interest me, and I hope, you too! Organizing, meal planning, recipes, budgeting, kids, crafting, gardening, books, DIY projects, I could go on and on. But I’ll stop there and let you find out for yourself! I’m the type of person who loves to over-research anything that interests me, or before I make a big decision, or comparing products. I hope that some of the stuff that I’ve learned over the years will be useful for others too. Maybe its how to make your own party decorations on a budget, how to meal plan, or how to setup a household binder.
Thanks for stopping by, make sure you check out my photo gallery (you might see some photos that will be featured in upcoming posts), and visit my Etsy shop to see some of the items I have made that are available for sale! Also be sure to follow me on Instagram and Facebook to stay updated on sales, coupons, and to find inspiration for your own DIY project!
